Summer of Slow Travel

Loving colors the way I do there has just been so much to love about reykjavik. They are totally willing to go to fun color combinations. here are some of my favorite:

Then the buildings. They are really having fun with shapes and colors. This is where we were last night. It has both a large convention hall and an intimate little theatre. It is light on the harbor–and I guess it was tremendously expensive.

This is the most famous building. It is a church. And built at the highest point so we could use the tower to orient ourselves as we wandered the city.

These are both office buildings. (I think)

And then for the cute factor. There are babies everywhere here. In these adorable bassinets

The weather here is gorgeous, but still chilly– this shorts over black tights is very popular.

We bought rings to commemorate our anniversary. Love you all..
