Max and I met in Sardinia, Italy on the USS Orion in 1985. Obviously, we were both up for a trip–almost anywhere. We have continued to explore this amazing world–a whole lot more since I retired in 2022!
Our modes of traveling
TOURS
If a place is tricky to get to, or just feels overwhelming we like tours. We have gone with Odyssey Unlimited and OATS. This time we used a tour company, Sojourn, which has set up private guides about half the days.
TAKING OUR TIME
When we lived in Europe, we found that a week in a place gave us a chance to sit back and enjoy. Our preferred method now.
CRUISES
Well, we took one to Alaska. Not sure yet. Of course, we LOVE traveling on “Ola” –our friends catamaran!
