Jewish Museum

this morning we started at the Jewish Museum.  There is a cemetery that was the onOh place Jewish people were allowed to be buried.  It was used from the 1300 to 1700.  There are 100,000people buried.   In layers.   The tombstones are as tight as you in see this picture and there are only 12000 on the top layer.   It was heart wrenching.

“The Jewish Museum” is actually the 5 Synagogues that surround the cemetery.  They all have exhibits of Jewish Artifacts in them, because there are not enough Jews here to need the Synagogues.  The devastation of World War 2 hits us in so many ways here.
