Countdown to Egypt

I’m really just checking to see if I can post from my iPhone. But in the meantime here is my very first blog about Egypt.

Max has always been fascinated by the pyramids. So Egypt has been on the “bucket list” for several years,but for a while it was hard to find a tour going there.

This year one of my patients mentioned he had been to Egypt, and on a tour that he highly recommended – – well that was all it took. Like usual we made up our minds and bought our tickets in about a week.

And then I read 26 books about Egypt. Well that isn’t entirely true I listened to maybe six and read 19. A lot on Islam, several on the ancient Egyptian culture, and literature books on modern Egypt. It might’ve become a little bit of an obsession for a while there.

So I am glad you are sharing this journey with us–we are currently excited and a little scared.
