Summer of Slow Travel

We had such a lovely day…..there was a tomb that we walked into…it had the first cartouche ever used– that is where they put a square around the royal’s name.   I hope you appreciate my pose.   One of the women on the cruise is so pretty and her husband takes a lot of pictures of her and she did that pose first…I thought that is was so cute…I copied it…

Several of group rode the camels…it looked up fun once you were on the camel…but going up and down was ROCKY.   Max and I are being our usual cautious selves didn’t even consider it…

This is one of those places that being there feels different that any picture you see.   

It is 5 am and we are about to board a plane to Aswan.   We are going to see a HUGE dam..  Clif (my dad) must be with me because I am totally excited about touring the dam.
