We arrived in Luxor late last night…Woke up this morning to the view of another ship…we had heard that they stack ships up on the Nile sometimes 6-7 deep…but somehow it had not filtered into my brain until we were walking through the lobby of several ships in order to get to ours…
But when we came back today from our am excursion..this is now our view
And this is how they load water onto our ship.
What a great morning we had…went to the Valley of the Kings –into 4 amazing tombs…the colors and the hieroglyphs ar so clear. Photos are not allowed for the most part. It was so remote and the dessert hills rise so steep from the Valley floor…I can see why the Royals felt they would be safe there for eternity.
Then on to the Valley of the Queens…still no photos
But I was able to take pictures…and I took some of our fellow travelers..at Queen Hatshepsut’ temple
I keep messing up so I am going to post his..then talk about my Queen.
