The rest of the day

After seeing the most amazing old temple…and walking and walking all over it…it takes up 16 Acres. We moved to our new hotel…and I say moved because with Odyssey you just are handed a refreshing drink when youget to your new abode, and a room key and you go to the room and rest a minute or two until you luggage comes.. so nice when your feet are just worn out.

We took another boat across the Nile to this… our guide is friends with the fellow..he lives in house with his siblings, mother,uncle and nieces and nephew. They prepared us the best meal I have ever eaten AND it included ocra…here he is showing us how he makes baskets and furniture from the date palm trees.

And then…remember this is the same day we started at the Big temple..We had a carriage ride… and pizza at a local bar…where the cutest couple was just trying to watch the big soccer match and we were like loud teenagers goofing off. I was afraid to start smoking again so I didn’t do this..but these guys were pros.
