Summer of Slow Travel

Ok. What does this sign mean?This sign I think is perfectly clear:We went out to Vincent’s last night. I am not a big one for taking pictures at restaurants, but when you see these I think you will understand why I had too. I’m starting to feel like my favorite restaurants are the ones trying for their first Michelin star. They just go so far off the beaten track.

We ordered duck Cunard because they said you had to have it once. It came with its own birth certificate. They prepared it at our table. Check out the feet on the press. They kept talking about collecting the blood. They said that word a lot. This country has blood sausages, like Quebec, so maybe they didn’t realize that is a hard word for This California Girl to hear as she is eating,

Oh hear was another little treat. It was actually really good. Not just a pretty face!

And the ice cream comes in an “ice berg”.

It was truly an experience.

We are really having fun,
