Summer of Slow Travel

We just had to return to the Hermitage.

Found Catherine’s Chapel. She didn’t believe there could ever be too much gold.

Then a waiting room..maybe..as we ventured off the regular track there was less English, as you would expect and then Max was in heaven when he found the Armor room.Off to the church that is on the site Alexander 1 was killed (after 7 unsuccessful attempts).

This trip has been wonderful..oh, here is a cool canal picture.Its hard to convey the feeling of all the canals in the neighborhoods, They are not as intimate as the ones in Amsterdam. But very peaceful.
