We really were just winging it today. Karen had heard there were some Roman Ruins just an hour away, so we rented a car and figured driving the countryside of Sicily would be fun.
Started in the Museum, which was just excellent . Enough information, but lot of beautiful pieces, some humor ( they had pictures of “their” vases being exhibited in the Louvre and British Museum with no commentary!)
Then (after a few U-turns) we walked into the largest Archeological Park in Europe. Just perfectly done spacious, thoughtful and gave us all the feeling of the ancient times.
