We tried to go to Toledo today. Left home at 8:45. Walked 7 minutes to Sol Metro . Started to get on the Metro, but really needed to go ANOTHER layer deeper to Avant and bought a ticket to the Main train station. WE arrived without a ticket— couldn’t buy a ticket on line, OR at the Renfe ticket kiosks…the line to buy in person was hours long, and then the security line looked about 15 minutes long. So we aborted. Came to the top at 10:25 and we were a 12 minute walk from our house! And a 5 minute walk to Prada. Oh well. We will still go, just not on the train. (Italian trains worked great…just saying)
A friend told me to watch Pedro Almodovar movies while we are in Madrid. We watched “Volver”. The colors were supersaturated…loved that these pictures mimic him a little.
