2026–Turkey and Sicily

OK– I usually do enough research that I am never completely blown away by a site when we are traveling. Well.. today I was awe struck. We went into one of the water storage cisterns left from the ROMAN times. (maybe 500AD).

Then they added some modern art. Just a wonderful tour!

And the columns are recycled from elsewhere…these were some of the coolest. Do you see the writing on the middle one? It was a temple edifice and was completely repurposed!
