Summer of Slow Travel

We took a boat to the ship we worked on (USS Orion). This is the view of La MADD where we would get off the boat.

The we would walk by this and stop at the Gelato shop. Which was TORN DOWN to make a pretty piazza. As well as the coffee shop where we had our first date.

When I walked downtown I used these stairs. (I don’t remember being worried that they are uneven heights and no hand rail)

It’s lovely remembering…though surprising to both of us how much we don’t remember considering we lived here for 2 years!
