2026–Turkey and Sicily

I usually don’t post about lodging…but this is incredible.

We were supposed to be in a Seaside Resort Hotel, but since we are going to be AT SEA for a week, that seemed redundant. So about 3 weeks ago our amazing tour company changed us to this one. I checked the reviews and every one said “wished we had stayed longer.

Luckily we are in our room for the next 3 nights. All I can hear is a rooster crowing and birds chirping.

Here are the pictures.


It must be 100 years old.

There are red poppies right outside our cottage.

We tour ruins tomorrow, but no plans for the next day. May just sit here all day.

    Quite nice your lodge .The végétation and views from your place seems so quiet. I thought the last picture the gray stones with insets of pale blue stones was the beginning of one of Barbara’s quilt’ already on vacation,”,!
