Ok… we made it to the castle in Sintra…mostly because it was cooler there than Lisbon… I know a lot of you are suffering really high heat, but once it is over 85 my PG body just overheats! It was incredible and the pictures don’t give you the fun of it.
Oh… this is at the supermarket. Unbearably smelly.. I have to hold my breath when I am near it. (And no one becomes an FP if they can’t tolerate odors!)
Venetians love that stuff. Super salted needs to be desalted to be edible. They make a creamy paste and put it on toasted bread. Not a fan myself.
You have to soak it for days and keep changing the water. It gets soft…it’s cod.
I forgot you have some Portuguese in your life!
Sintra is such a pretty area and the tile in that castle was unreal! So glad you got there! And that fish really does not look appealing😂
