We stopped for lunch at a 4.7 Nico’s Cafe. Expecting a diner–which tend to have decent food when you are on the road. Drove in and saw a HUGE Baptist Church and a HUGE Methodist Church… an this gorgeous County courthouse

and a great, bustling restaurant in a lively downtown!

I did a Google search to see where the money is coming from… they have factories. its been interesting to see this. Ripon WI–Greenville SC and now New Albany all feel ALIVE–and they all have attracted industry. Makes me understand why that resonates on the national scene. For these little towns factories bring in new money–its not the same $20 being passed from one person to the other.
We also stopped at the Willam Clinton Library. Its our first one (besides JFK) and with this one we could really see how the Clinton’s wanted to portray themselves. For some reason I hadn’t thought about that aspect of a Presidential Library–it is like a huge Christmas Letter. The most obvious choice was in every picture of Hilary she had a big (and genuine) smile. Bill was also mostly smiling. I don’t know exactly what to make of that choice.
Off to OKC–still getting over this cold, so we won’t see our friend there. Barbara
