2026–Turkey and Sicily

We’ve gone back to our park 2 more times. Today there was a police parade. Yesterday we found an huge exhibition hall there. Which James Lee Byars work needed. More pretty pictures of the park.

So tiles 100 years ago, and now, spray paint… Makes wandering the streets really fun!!! Tonight we are seeing Lion King (Ek Rey Lion). Love

Soralla is an amazing Spanish painter. There is a new exhibit at Prada talking about the transformation of Spain 1895-1910, and he has 3 large paintings in the exhibit. Maria Tracy had recommended we see his house which was made into a museum. A lovely and intimate way to see…

We tried to go to Toledo today. Left home at 8:45. Walked 7 minutes to Sol Metro . Started to get on the Metro, but really needed to go ANOTHER layer deeper to Avant and bought a ticket to the Main train station. WE arrived without a ticket— couldn’t buy…
