2026–Turkey and Sicily

I really appreciate all of you for following along on our trip. We fly out tomorrow and are looking forward to being back–and yet also will miss the adventure of traveling.

We connected with so many people, saw cool places, had thought about time and the human condition. I love the expansion of my brain and the world that comes with traveling.

I have to be honest –for a Southern Baptist I am crushing a little on the Virgin Mary. In Turkey there were SO MANY temples to Athena and Artemis (and even Isis). When I got to Sicily it made me think of the Virgin Mary as one of them. And I kind of love her..

She is EVERYWHERE on this island!
