2026–Our Bi-annual Road Trip..

I think our Angels were with us today. We woke up and after exercising decided that a 8 hours drive tomorrow was just too much. We could drive 4 hours today and 4 tomorrow.

So we packed up and went out to the parking garage and found this:

Oh boy. We drove to a Fargo Porsche Service Center and they said they could run diagnositcs around 4pm for $250.

I called Porsche in Minneapolis and they said, “Sounds like you can drive it, come on in when you get here!”

We were there at 3 pm and they took it to the back–where the warning did NOT appear! (Just like when you take a sick kid to the doctor!). But they still ran the diagnostics and all was fine! (No charge). Lots of 5 star reviews were given!

And we only have 4 hours to drive tomorrow.

SIDE NOTE–I had this idea we could drive 8 hours a day. We can’t . It makes us feel funny.

    Yay to no charges and great service AND for figuring out that 8 hours is too much drive time. YIKES! Stay safe.

    so glad all is okay! My great friend Sarah was also in Fargo the same day (en route from Minnesota to Montana) – wild that two Bay Area / Pleasanton folks were there at once.
