We are in Sicily. And loving the food and churches and outside eating. The Pizza and cannoli, the Aperol Spritzs. The winding streets and balconies. It is beautiful and magical.
BUT Siracusa is ALSO the birthplace of Archimedes. And he lived here in 200BC except when he went to Alexandria for “college”.
He is the guy that quantified levers, pulleys and gears. And figured out Pi. So after walking to the Greek Amphitheater we popped over the Technoparco Museo di Archimede.

Everything was made by a local HS Science teacher! And it all worked. We had a blast.

Our personal guide!
love you all, barbara
